Innovation in Education and Health
At VIBRANIUM RESOURCES we follow a wholistic, top-to-bottom approach to supporting education. The firm is structured around a core research, consulting and training department, and five further wings carry that work out into the world: publishing, tutoring, communications, travel and a scholarship programme.
We have worked with schools, universities, ministries, and the local and diaspora community. Our strength is our passion for education and a vibrant team of dreamers, world-class researchers, developers and graphic designers, alongside communication and project managers.
Our projects are geared towards national development: produce high-quality problem-solving research and consultancy; inspire people to learn and innovate through reading and entertainment; promote tourism through books and audio-visual production; and create jobs through advanced skills training for young people.
Legal status
VIBRANIUM RESOURCES is a private limited company registered in Ethiopia, specialising in research, consultancy and training (RCT) in education and health. It operates from Addis Ababa, with a further office in London supporting international travel, conferences and hosting.

The name
Where the name comes from
We took our name from Marvel Studios' Black Panther — the first superhero film nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award, but more importantly for its effect on how African and African-American children think about heritage, pride, empowerment and technology.
Vibranium is the nearly indestructible element that fell to Wakanda as a meteorite, noted for absorbing, storing and releasing enormous amounts of kinetic energy. Mined into a malleable metal and used in everyday life, it made Wakanda the most technologically advanced country on Earth.
As the Greeks put it — “the energy of the mind is the essence of life” (Aristotle) and “the secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new” (Socrates). We committed ourselves to harnessing the energy of African young people, and giving them the resources and support they need to excel.

How we work
From a question to something that changes, in three steps.
Start from the data
We work with the organisations that hold data and build the infrastructure around it, so that it can be used to identify gaps, support decisions, and monitor and evaluate the impact of policy.
Build the skills
We introduce high-quality research methods to postgraduate students, professionals and institutions through short courses, pre-conference workshops and continuous coaching — drawing on what our team learned working abroad.
Put it back into the community
Findings turn into books, tutorials, talks and scholarships. We campaign for data use in research, for awareness of data privacy, and for policies on data protection and governance, together with the ministries and institutions concerned.
