An international project using big data, social support networks and mobile health technology to improve the mental, sexual and reproductive health of Ethiopian migrant domestic workers in the Middle East.
INNOVETH improves the mental, sexual and reproductive health of Ethiopian migrant domestic workers in the Middle East, through pre-departure health training, peer-led support programmes, self-help groups, a multilingual mobile app for health information and support, and data-driven risk assessment and community monitoring.
It brings together Ethiopian and European institutions, with VIBRANIUM RESOURCES FOUNDATION contributing through Dr M Sanni Ali, Dr Abdu Kedir Seid and Dr Seid Muhie Yimam.
