Scholarship candidates studying together — the programme links a school's alumni back to the students still in it.
The VIBRANIUM Scholarship supports female secondary school students, and a few male students with outstanding results, by linking each school's alumni back to it.
Each participating alumnus contributes 250 birr a month for a year, plus a one-off book voucher of 1,000 birr. It gives alumni a concrete way to give back to the school that made things easier for them, and builds a lasting relationship with the students who come after.
