Female students who scored 600 and above in the national examination spent a day with women who have gone further down the same road — and left with certificates, book coupons and a good deal else.
The VIBRANIUM Bootcamp was held on Wednesday, 26 May 2021, at the Intercontinental Addis Hotel.
The idea was straightforward: bring together female students who scored 600 and above in the national examination, high-scoring eleventh-grade students and recent graduates, and put them with successful women and notable individuals who have already made the journey. The programme concentrated on study methods, career skills, time management and self-development.
The awards
Students scoring 625 and above received certificates and book coupons worth three thousand birr, presented by Mrs Meaza Ashenafi, President of the Federal Supreme Court — founder of Enat Bank, its former board chair, and founder of the Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association — together with Dr Mulatu Astatke and Mr Getachew Tefera, head of the Addis Ababa City Administration Revenue Bureau. Participation certificates went to the other students and to the trainers.

Mrs Meaza Ashenafi: “Women have so much potential, and you carry all of your responsibilities. A woman succeeding is of great benefit to her family and to the country.”
Dr Mulatu Astatke: “The important thing is to be self-aware. You have to ask yourself, examine, and try to work out what you want to be. That is where self-awareness comes from.”

በቫይብራኒየም ሪሶርስስ የተዘጋጀው የቫይብራኒየም ቡት ካምፕ ግንቦት 18 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም ኢንተርኮንቲነንታል አዲስ ሆቴል በታላቅ ድምቀት ተካሂዷል። ልምድ ማጋራት፣ እርስ በርስ ሀሳብ መለዋወጥና መበረታታትን አንግቦ የተነሳው ይህ ዝግጅት፣ ከአስራ አንደኛ ክፍል ከፍተኛ ውጤት ያመጡና በዘንድሮው የማትሪክ ውጤት ከ600 ነጥብ በላይ ያመጡ ሴት ተማሪዎችን በማሰባሰብ፣ በቅርብ ከዩኒቨርሲቲ ከተመረቁና በትምህርታቸው ከፍተኛ ደረጃ ከደረሱ ስኬታማ ሴቶች ጋር በማገናኘት የአጠናን ዘዴ፣ የሕይወት ክህሎት፣ የሰዓት አጠቃቀምና ራስን ማሳደግ ላይ ትኩረት አድርጎ ውጤታማ ጊዜ አሳልፏል።
በስነ ስርዓቱ ላይ ወ/ሮ መዓዛ አሸናፊ የጠቅላይ ፍርድ ቤት ፕሬዝዳንት፣ ክቡር ዶ/ር ሙላቱ አስታጥቄ እና የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር የገቢዎች ቢሮ ኃላፊ አቶ ጌታቸው ተፈራ በእንግድነት በመገኘት ከ625 ነጥብ በላይ ላመጡ ተማሪዎች የምስክር ወረቀትና የሦስት ሺህ ብር የመጽሐፍ ኩፖን ሸልመዋል። ለሌሎች ተማሪዎችና አሰልጣኞችም የተሳትፎ የምስክር ወረቀት አበርክተዋል።
